Synopsis

In Part 1 of the two-part eighth-season premiere, Mia becomes friends with a new girl named Leia and gets an opportunity to model for a shoe line, while Clare interacts with new student K.C., who challenges her. Meanwhile, Emma and Manny are assigned different dorm rooms, so Emma sets about getting them reassigned.
