This is an episode from the public television series, Debbie Travis' Painted House, in which the home improvement afficionado is instructed in simple projects with big impact. Like most of her home makeovers, this one is completed in one weekend of work. In this episode, two sisters are leaving home for college. To surprise their mother, Debbie helps the young women give the family den a new look. The big project is giving an update to the fake wood paneling and then refurbishing a 1970's sofa and table. The crowning touch is the innovative display they devise to show off the family photographs.
