Synopsis by Leslie Birdwell

From Season Three of Debbie Travis' Painted House, Episode 322 creates a perfect under-the-eaves attic bedroom for a teenage girl. The emphasis is on lace and light reminiscent of a Jamaican plantation house. The walls are washed with a light terra cotta and randomly textured with cheesecloth, while the old linoleum floors are stripped, cleaned, and waxed to a shine. A charming screen adds to the demure ambience, decorated with a floral design and low-toned colors to complement the walls. Plastic lace covers the bedside table, completing the gentle impression of softness and paradise. This video is one of five inspired by the island of Jamaica.
