Synopsis by Robert Firsching

Nick Bougas' sequel to his own Death Scenes (1989) is a nauseating mondo documentary about violent death. The bulk of the tape is consumed with the same war-atrocity footage already overused in dozens of other mondo films, but the last 20 minutes do hold some interesting surprises. Bougas presents detailed footage of the helicopter accident on the set of Twilight Zone: The Movie which claimed the life of actor Vic Morrow and two children, actual crime-scene and autopsy footage from the Manson Family murders of Sharon Tate and six others, and -- most horrifyingly of all -- the public suicide of disgraced Pennsylvania legislator R. Budd Dwyer. Although most viewers will be repulsed, the segments will likely fascinate curiosity-seekers with strong stomachs. A third installment followed.
