Synopsis by Sandra Brennan

This documentary is director Rosanne Ehrlich's tribute to her father, who while in combat during WW II, wrote letters to his beloved pregnant wife and daughter. He did this every day for two years during his basic training and the ensuing combat in Europe. He even wrote while interred at the Ohrdruf concentration camp. In addition to the letters, Ehrlich also interviews her aged mother, Babe. Also included are archival news clips, and interviews with other family members.
