Synopsis by Ed Atkinson
Katia Krafft and Maurice Krafft died while investigating a volcano in Japan in 1991, but they have left behind the most expansive video documentation of volcano activity. Deadly Peaks uses the Krafft's footage of several active volcanoes to demonstrate the immense power these mountains hold. With investigations into how communities effected by the Mt. St. Helens explosion dealt with it, Mt. Kilimanjaro's active crater and several other noted volcanoes, the viewer is shown rarely seen footage that will surely educate.
