Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Not to be confused with the Roy Stewart western One Shot Ross, Dead Shot Baker was directed by its star, William Duncan. The titular Baker is the sheriff of a one-horse tank known as Wolfville. After marrying pretty Easterner Evelyn Baldwyn (Carol Holloway), Baker discovers that the girl has apparently become enamored of the new postmaster (Charles Wheelock). Intending to kill the man who has come between himself and his wife, Baker changes his mind when his life is saved by the postmaster during a scuffle with an outlaw. As for Evelyn, she gigglingly reveals that she was only flirting with the mail-carrier, bringing this tidy little actioner to a chucklesome conclusion.
