If you haven't already been tipped off by the title, we hereby inform you that what we have here is a low-budget emulation of such Spring-break favorites as Where the Boys Are and Palm Springs Weekend. In lieu of a plot, Shannon and other pop artists set the beat for a wild vacation weekend. Filmed in 16mm, the picture is a drag except when the guest stars perform. Lensed in cost-saving 16 millimeter, Daytona Beach Weekend was grainily blown up to 35 mm and distributed regionally by Dominant Films.
