Synopsis by Augustine Chay
Monica Dolan, Earl Cave, and Rob Brydon star in director Simon Bird’s intergenerational dramedy (an adaptation of Joff Winterhart’s 2012 graphic novel of the same name). Comedy and pathos ensue after a teenage metalhead is forced to spend the summer holidays in the English suburbs with his boring, old-fashioned, and divorced mother — instead of vacationing with his father (and his new family) in sunny Florida.
