This unauthorized retrospective on glam rock legend David Bowie uses interviews with Angie Bowie, Woody Woodmansey, and others in order to trace his rise to fame, from the release of The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars to the beginning of his "Thin White Duke" era. The film also features archival footage such as a 1969 low-budget film attempt at Space Oddity.
