Synopsis by Dan Pavlides

Irma Harrison and Kempton Greene star in this hackneyed melodrama. The daughter of a wealthy gentleman in Louisville marries Devil Dan against her fathers wishes. Dan is killed by moonshiners, and the wife is on her deathbed seven years later begging her father's forgiveness. Before she dies, she gives some papers and her seven-year-old daughter to an oily attorney. The lecherous lawyer steals her money and takes the little girl to a moonshine still. There she grows into young womanhood where her hillbilly upbringing cannot hide her beauty and refined feminine charms. After the girl saves the life of a visiting revenue agent, she dresses up like a boy and escapes her hillbilly life. Later, the revenue agent visits the girl's grandfather, who is an old friend of his, and as a result of this meeting the girl is reunited with her grandfather after he recognizes the family resemblance to his late daughter. Later, the moonshiner and the lawyer kidnap the girl, and the hero pursues the villains to rescue the girl. The lawyer is shot and confesses everything to the agent, who happens to be the dying barrister's nephew.
