To make this Swiss documentary, filmmaker Franz Reichle traveled to northern India, eastern Siberia, central Europe and Israel, gathering information on gyushi, the knowledge of healing, and the spread of Tibetan medicine to distant lands, including Buryata. The Dalai Lama's doctor is seen at work, and various experts discuss various aspects of Tibetan medicine. The film has a tie-in book and CD-ROM.
