Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Barnabas (Jonathan Frid) gives Josette (Kathryn Leigh Scott) his music box and promises that they will meet again. Driven to distraction by Angelique's treachery, Barnabas shoots her. As she lies bleeding on the floor, Angelique (Lara Parker) places a curse upon Barnabas, whereupon a bat flies into the room and bites him on the neck. This pivotal Dark Shadows episode first aired on January 12, 1968.
