Synopsis by Nathan Southern
Brad Weber, Bryan Madson and Thomas Schunk star in the direct-to-video drama Dare to Dream: The Alan Kulwicki Story. The picture recounts the tragic yet inspiring life of the late Kulwicki, a NASCAR driver who broke records when he won the '92 title by a margin of close to ten points - one of the narrowest leads in history. It covers his childhood in Wisconsin, his 1973 victory as Rookie of the Year, his 1986 decision to field his first Winston Cup racing team, his 1988 NASCAR victory at Phoenix International, the infamous 1992 victory, and - of course - Kulwicki's tragic death, en route to a race, in an April 1993 plane crash.
