Synopsis by Matthew Tobey
One part American Idol and one part The Surreal Life, ABC's Dancing with the Stars is a competetive celebrity reality series that pairs notable names from film, television, music and sports with professional ballroom dancers. Each week, after the couples have performed, a panel of judges rates them and home-viewers phone in votes for their favorite, with the lowest scorer eliminated from the game. Among the celebrities who've appeared on the show are New Kid on the Block Joey McIntyre, WWE wrestler Stacy Keibler, and Oscar-winner Tatum O'Neal.
