Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
Having kicked her lazy husband out of the house, a single mother struggles to support her two children in director Deepak Kumaran Menon's intimate family drama. Muniammah (Kalpana Sundraju) does enough around the house without having to cater to the needs of her lazy husband Raja (Shangkara). After giving Raja the boot, Muniammah does her best to draw a healthy income from her modest flower booth. Muniammah's eleven year-old daughter Uma (Dhaarshini Sankran) has always dreamed of growing up to be a dancer, but her teenage son Siva (Ramesh Kumar) has more materialistic goals. An employee at the local car wash who longs to earn more than his current salary, Siva joins his best friend Kali (Bala Sundram) in taking a client's Mercedes for an impromptu joyride. When the drive ends in disaster, Siva vows to do the honorable thing despite increasing pressure from the frightened Kali.
