This performance video presents the Dance Theater of Harlem in an evening of music and dance. Led by founder and choreographer Arthur Mitchell, the dance company puts on a show, featuring four of their best-known works, including "Fall River Legend", a dramatic telling of the story of Lizzie Bordon; "The Beloved", a pas de deux that looks at the dark side of love; "Troy Game", which makes a political statement about the world of sports; and "John Henry", a story of perseverance against all odds.
