Synopsis by Hal Erickson
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation moved from Fridays to a Thursday-night time slot with this episode, in which Frank Damon (Sterling Macer Jr.) is facing execution for killing his wife and child in a fire. With time running out, Damon begs Grissom (William L. Petersen) to prove his innocence. Elsewhere, Catherine (Marg Helgenberger) and Nick (George Eads), investigating the murder of a 16-year-old, follow the trail of clues to an illegal sports-gambling operation.
