In this romantic war movie, set during WW II, the great war is seen from the viewpoint of Filipino commandos as they do battle against the Japanese. They are lead by a courageous bus driver. Tension is generated within the group when the leader falls for one of his compatriots, a highly intelligent young woman. When the American troops arrive, he is afraid that he will lose her to them. Fortunately, she remains devoted to him and true love prevails.
