Based on the memoirs of General Dwight D. Crusade in Europe, Vol. 5: Hitler's Last Stand documents a number of crucial last battles the U.S. and its allies fought to win the war in Europe. Featured is the final German offensive, known as the Battle of the Bulge. Also covered is the Battle of Walcheren Island, the Allies' last major offensive against the Nazis, Churchill's crossing of the Rhine River, and the Battle of Berlin.
