Synopsis by Sarah Ing

Ocean cruises are one of the fastest growing tourist markets. Over 150,000 people go to the islands of Bermuda in the Spring alone. Travel expert Doug Jones gets his feet wet with his introduction to the tropical locale in Cruising to Bermuda. Jones boards the M.V. Horizon for the journey from New York. Once among the 150 outcroppings, the experienced tourist hits all of the favored hotspots. Bermuda has an air of British restraint yet the setting is pure paradise. Hamilton, St. George, and Somerset all unfurl before Jones. He takes in pink sand beaches and the crystal caves. The charming dockyards and Gibb's Hill Lighthouse provide a history lesson. Like he has with his National Parks and Canadian tours, Jones brings the appeal of Bermuda to the viewer.
