Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

Filmmakers Michael Fox and Silvia Leindecker embark on a cross-country trek to learn how the 2008 recession affected the lives of everyday Americans. Two years later, they return to see just how the people they previously spoke to are staying afloat during the devastating economic crisis. Though the stories they are told speak volumes about the resiliency of everyday Americans, growing inequality and a continual undercurrent of human rights abuse gives rise to increasing concerns about the future stability of our once-great nation. Interviewees include members of Baltimore's United Workers, L.A.'s Bus Rider's Union, the Vermont Worker's Center, and everyday people from all across the country.
