Synopsis by Nathan Southern

Acclaimed documentarian Ian Christopher directs Crop Circles: The Best Evidence -- Vol. 5. Shot in 1999, the documentary eschews the oft-held idea that crop circles are man-made (and something of a hoax, similar to the circles that landscape painters Doug Bower and Dave Chorley created and perpetuated during the '70s and '80s). Instead, the program -- produced by UFO TV -- treats these phenomena as mysteriously unexplained, spooky occurrences. It carries viewers into the United Kingdom, and the inner circle of cereology, for a soaring trip over England via helicopter. The voyage reveals indescribably beautiful patterns carved into the fields and crops, as they occur at various points on the tail end of the millennium -- from April 1999 through September 1999. This documentary covers more than five dozen such formations -- many so breathtaking that even non-paranormalists will be enthralled by the aesthetic appeal of the sights -- and also features extended walks through the formations, enabling viewers to investigate the phenomena at eye level.
