An alien-obsessed schizophrenic, an overweight porn addict, and a retired teacher with a quadriplegic daughter find their lives intertwining as they wrestle with their personal weaknesses and fears for the future. "El Jairo" is convinced that the extraterrestrials are among us, and that it's his duty to protect the human race. Meanwhile, porn-addicted Claudia finds her appetite for adult entertainment impeding on her social life, and ageing teacher Juvencio worries that no one will be around to take care of his beloved, invalid daughter will have no one to care for her once he and his wife are gone. Their obsessions are overpowering, but perhaps with the help of others they can find a means of conquering them, and leading more fulfilling lives.
