When Jeff (Richard Coyle) develops a huge crush on his equally tongue-tied boss, Julia (Lou Gish), their mutual awkwardness complicates things -- as does their professional relationship. It seems poor Jeff might reach his 30th birthday still resolutely single. But Julia turns to his female friends for advice on how to handle things, setting the stage for the surprise birthday party of Jeff's dreams. Of course, Jeff's dreams frequently turn out to be nightmares, as does the party. Luckily, that doesn't deter Julia from her romantic objectives.
