When Susan (Sarah Alexander) throws a dinner party for the entire gang, Jane (Gina Bellman) brings along her therapist, Jill (Elizabeth Marmur), whom everyone assumes to be Jane's lover. With this sapphic subtext in place, it's unfortunate that Susan has recently discovered one of Steve's porn videos: "Lesbian Spank Inferno." A guilt-wracked Steve having blurted a confession of love to Susan to cover up his embarrassment, the stage is set for a long evening of innuendo and embarrassment. Originally broadcast June 2, 2000, on BBC2, Inferno marked season one, episode four of the hit Britcom.
