Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka

An informative and disturbing documentary, this look at the U.S. government's treatment of the Montana Crow nation is told through the memories of Robert Yellowtail, over 90 years old and going strong. Others join in, and Peter Coyote narrates as a history of intentional discrimination unfolds. The Crow suffered the loss of their land, their water sources, and their buffalo at the hands of U.S. bureaucrats -- yet if Yellowtail is a measure of the Crow spirit, there is hope that they too will overcome one day.
