Mildred Davis and Carl Miller co-star in this moral melodrama about a young woman who disguises her dog as a baby to take with her on the train. When kidnappers mistake the dog for a baby they have abducted, the bundles get switched, and the woman mistakenly brings home the baby instead of the beagle. Now the woman must explain the presence of the baby to the prudish and nosey townspeople. When the moral watchdog of the village moves into his garage and the woman hides in his house, the townsfolk are in an uproar.
