Synopsis by Clare Perez-Izaguirre Lopez
Based on the true story of the Fletcher Street Cowboys and the novel ‘Ghetto Cowboy’ by G. Neri, law-breaking Detroit teen Cole (Caleb Mclaughlin) is sent by his mother to North Philadelphia to stay with his estranged father Harp (Idris Elba) for the summer. But Harp is part of a unique urban cowboy group that is worlds away from the streets of Detroit leading Cole to struggle to find his place, caught between his old life of crime and new, alien setting in this coming-of-age drama directed and co-written by Ricky Staub. Lorraine Toussaint, Byron Bowers and Jharrel Jerome co-star.
