Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein

Although the plot of this inexpensively produced action melodrama has been lost to history, Compassion was almost certainly a rare non-Western from the fertile mind of poverty row entrepreneur Victor Adamson. Adamson co-directed the picture with actor Norval MacGregor and the star was Gaston Glass, a handsome Parisian who became something of a fixture in B-movies of the '20s. Often using the nom-de-cinema of Denver Dixon, Victor Adamson is best remembered for producing a seemingly endless string of no-budget Westerns starring one Art Mix. Compassion was based on Wings, a story by Beth Slater Whitson.
