Synopsis by Nathan Southern
The "communities" in question are those of the Granite State, New Hampshire; in this penetrating sociological expose, population expert Peter Francese teams up with filmmaker Jay Childs to explore the root cause of the fact that working-age people in New Hampshire are forming a mass exodus from the state and thus draining the populace of vitality. Childs and Francese trace the etiology of this problem by taking it straight from the horse's mouth: the views of local citizens across New Hampshire. Those citizens delineate a link between decisions that are made from community to community, and the said migrations out of the state.
