Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein

A naive Colorado rancher falls prey to a predatory female in this melodrama written and directed by former Chicago journalist Jules G. Furthman. William Russell, the Fox company's top Western ace at the time, starred as Colorado Jim, who falls for scheming Angela Featherstone (Margaret Livingston) while visiting London. Giving in to family pressure, Angela marries the newcomer but, as she warns, "in name only." His money soon gone, Colorado returns to the homestead in the Rockies, bringing the recalcitrant Angela with him. They are followed by Philip Meredith (George Fisher), Angela's newest conquest, and the two men come to blows. Colorado is wounded, and while nursing him back to health, Angela finally realizes her love for him. Colorado Pluck was based on British author George Goodchild's 1920 novel Colorado Jim, or The Taming of Angela.
