In 1994, Kevin Smith came out of nowhere with his zippy indie feature Clerks, launching a career that would give us such cinematic gems as Mallrats and Dogma. In 2000, Smith returns to his roots with this animated series about those irreverent slackers in service industry hell. Recalling the ADD-inducing pop-culture references of Family Guy or The Simpsons, this series is chock-full of lightning-fast spoofs of such hallowed institutions as People's Court, ER, and George Lucas.
