Synopsis by Forrest Spencer
The 1952 World Series featured the New York Yankees facing the Brooklyn Dodgers for a seven game Series. This particular game -- Game Six -- was so exciting that a special video highlight tape was produced to feature the dramatic moments that transpired. This video features a historical moment that has occurred only once in Major League history: Brooklyn Pitcher Billy Loes losing a ground ball in the sun, costing the game in a three-to-two victory for the Dodgers. This highlight tape features some outstanding footage of the players from both teams, including Jackie Robinson, Yogi Berra, Billy Martin and Andy Pafko. It was an exciting series with the Dodgers winning their first world championship in Game Seven.
