Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Although Viola Dana was an extremely valuable star for Metro, every film she made was not quality material. This mystery, which co-starred Wallace MacDonald, was one of her poorer vehicles. Connie McGill (Dana) is a scullery maid who, from afar, loves the penniless but socially well-placed Prentice Blue (MacDonald). She gets to chance to meet him when some people furnish her with fancy clothes so that she can attend a dance held by the Valentines. What she doesn't realize is that her supposed helpers are crooks whose female accomplice couldn't gain access to the party. They're using her so that they can sneak in and rob the guests. After the heist, Blue comes under suspicion, but Connie finally realizes her unwitting part in the scheme. She saves Blue by proving his innocence and incriminating the real thieves. Blue foregoes the easy wealth of a society match and decides to marry Connie instead.
