Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
In this phantasmagorical film from the country of Georgia, at the end of the 19th century, a young man leaves his rural home to go to the city to make his fortune. He pays court to the beautiful redhead Margalita (Ariadne Shenglaya), but this lands him in jail, for another of Margalita's suitors is the governor of the city. While in jail, the boy meets an eccentric mathematician, who enlists his help in building an improbable flying machine; in it, the twosome fly away to safety.
