Adapted from a story by James Fenimore Cooper, Chingachgook: The Great Snake concerns a Mohican named Chingachgook who stands up to the settlers whose actions are wiping his people out. He finds a surprisingly sympathetic partner in a white man who goes by the name Deerslayer.
