In this independently produced film directed by a film-school instructor at NYU, a young woman immigrant leaves an abusive relationship with her boyfriend only to be taken advantage of by an unscrupulous landlord who uses her as a prostitute when she is unable to come up with the rent money. Reviewers saw this film at the 1992 Sundance Film Festival and found its settings dreary and the characters unsympathetic.
