Synopsis by Dan Pavlides

Six Bulgarian students become involved in executing Nazis and their collaborators. Three young men and women recite the horrors inflicted by the enemy before they shoot the collaborators to death. The female leader of the group is loved by one of the men, but their dedication to the cause prevents love from blossoming. The communist students are eventually surrounded by the enemy as they engage in a desperate final conflict. Originally shown at the 1970 Karlovy Vary Film Festival, Chernite Angeli is also known as Black Angels, and should not be confused with the 1970 U.S. black exploitation film The Black Angels.
