Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Sportscaster Dave Richards (Fred Dryer) bets Sam (Ted Danson) that he can break up Sam's romance with Diana (Shelley Long) within 24 hours. Dave launches his campaign by informing Diane that Sam's notorious "little black book," purportedly tossed in the trash, is still very much in existence. Al Rosen makes his first appearance as the famously close-mouthed barfly Al. This episode won an Emmy award for writer David Angell.
