Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Although Clara Kimball Young was the star of this Allan Dwan-directed version of the Broadway play, she wasn't the only notable in the cast. Anna Q. Nilsson and Tully Marshall (one of silent films' finer character actors) were also featured. The plot involves two separate rings of crooks, disguised as members of high society. Both gangs are out to swindle the other; both are unaware of the true identity of their "victims." Clara Kimball Young is Nan Carey, the woman detective who's out to bring both gangs to justice, and she and Jack Holt (who plays her lover) are the only ones with straight roles in this clever crime farce. Universal Studios remade this film in 1927.
