Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Macho outdoorsman James Wadsworth (Bruce McRae) takes a liking to the refined, citified Anna Dalton (Gerda Holmes) and pursues her on a cruise to South America. She won't have anything to do with him; in fact, she falls overboard trying to avoid him. Wadsworth jumps in after her, but the steamer gives them up for lost and sails away. They wind up on a deserted shore where Wadsworth's annoying displays of masculinity turn out to have some use. Anna decides that he's all right after all and it's not long before they have a child. But after a year has passed, her family comes to the island hoping that perhaps she is there. With them is Sir Richard Towne (Alfred Hickman), her former fiancée. He finds Wadsworth, who has fallen over a cliff and broken his legs. He tells Anna, however, that he is dead so that she will come home and marry him to give the child a name. After several more years, Wadsworth is rescued, and he tracks down Anna and denounces Towne for his deceit. Towne commits suicide, so Anna and Wadsworth are easily reunited.
