Jennings takes a look at World War I in No Man's Land: The Great War. Shattering the optimism Americans enjoyed in the early years of the 20th century, the onset of WWI eventually dragged America into the quagmire of that grim struggle. Learn about President Wilson's attempts to keep America out of this conflict as well as the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia that would lead to its withdrawal from WWI. Also covered are President Wilson's efforts to orchestrate a peace at the end of the conflict that might lead to enduring harmony.
