Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka

The Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale about the king's invisible clothes is the basis of this uneven children's fantasy with adult nuances. In Great Puritania there is a minister in charge of overseeing the good citizens' dreams in case any taboo nude scenes crop up. If so, the offending party is sentenced to death. When an itinerant hobo is caught transgressing this taboo, the poor condemned man finds a way to save his life. He next dreams of invisible clothes and that catches the fancy of the dream censor. The minister says the hobo's life will be spared if he can create a set of invisible clothes for the king. And the rest is history, after a fashion.
