Synopsis by Andrea LeVasseur
The romantic musical drama Car Man: An Auto-Erotic Thriller was originally broadcast on U.K. television. British choreographer Matthew Bourne revisited the classic Bizet opera Carmen with this contemporary version set in a small American town during the early '60s. A stranger named Luca (Alan Vincent) arrives in a small town and attracts the attentions of both married Lana (Saranne Curtin) and young man Angelo (Will Kemp). When Lana kills her husband, Angelo is framed while she and Luca escape together, leading to tragic psychological conclusions.
