The title of the Turkish Gece Dansi Tutsaklari translates to Captives of a Night Dance. Hulya Docygit plays a journalist who lives with several other working women in an Istanbul boarding house. Docygit's new managing editor, played by Cihan Unal, proves a major thorn in the side of everyone at the office. Ultimately, however, Docygit and Unal fall in love. The relationship is strained by the presence of Amanda J. Grant, a boarder in Doygit's building.
