Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
Veteran poverty row producer-director-actor J.P. McGowan became a veritable "auteur" with this low-budget Yakima Canutt Western, adding screenplay and editing credits to his long list of accomplishments. Not that the results were anything to write home about -- Canutt once again played a cowboy who is falsely accused of a crime and on the run from the law. He is taken in by lovely Ione Reed and her aunt (Betty Carter), who are having trouble with a nasty land-grabber. Canutt not only gets a chance to save the helpless women but manages to clear his own name in the process.
