Synopsis by Mark Deming

A father and son have very different ideas about love and sex in this comedy from Hungarian filmmaker Barnabas Toth. Tibor (Zoltan Bezeredi) is a middle-aged gynecologist who has been living with his son Daniel (Barnabas Toth), a medical student, since the death of his wife. Tibor has become curiously liberated by his new status as a single man, and is enthusiastically dating a wide variety of different women. Daniel, however, has a different attitude about the opposite sex, and has decided he's saving himself for his one true love, despite his dad's encouragement to go out and find a willing girlfriend. Tibor's behavior has given Daniel a certain trepidation towards women, especially after his father has told him that a woman's scent resembled a certain fine cheese -- something Daniel has never liked. But Daniel finds his fiercely declared principles tested when he decides to spend the summer with his uncle and meets an attractive older woman who makes no secret of her interest in him. Rozsaszin Sajt (aka Camembert Rose) received its United States premiere at the 2010 Cinequest Film Festival.
