Synopsis by Tracie Cooper
Written and directed by Luis Filipe Rocha, Camarate chronicles the events preceding the crash of a twin-engine plane into the Camarate neighborhood of Lisbon, Portugal. The film centers around Judge Luisa Ramos (Maria Joao Luis), who is reviewing the controversial case. Her friends--a judge and a laywer, respectively--initially insist that re-opening the case is a waste of time, but come to believe that the crash was actually a well-concealed assassination attempt. The matter becomes a family affair when Luisa's father, Carlos (Filipe Ferffer), becomes convinced that the government knew what they were doing when the plane went down.
