This drama was little more than an eternal triangle story, spiced up with a bit of Latin American flair. Although the marriage between Gerry and Alix Lansing (Ramsey Wallace and Irene Rich) appears to be happy, her friendship with Alan Wayne (Leon Barry) starts to cause problems. The couple have an argument and Alix decides to run off with Wayne to Canada. At the last minute, however, she leaps from the train. Lansing doesn't know that his wife has changed her mind, so he goes to South America to forget about her. Any remaining trust he has had in Alix is destroyed when Wayne writes him and tells him that she plans to divorce him. A native girl saves Lansing from drowning and he marries her. Wayne comes down to see Lansing and admits that Alix has always been faithful. The native girl conveniently dies in a flood and Lansing returns to his wife, and to the child he has not yet seen. Jobyna Ralston, who has a supporting role here, would gain a bit of immortality in the mid-1920s when she became Harold Lloyd's leading lady in several of his classic comedy features.
